01 Challenge Trail SATURDAY

Challenge Trail 1 will always be the toughest of the two and surprise you at several points. You will get out of breath, your legs will hurt and the sun could get you burned. But it all will be worth it because of the breathtaking views and surroundings of raw nature.

02 Challenge Trail 2

Via the beach and the suburbs, you will head towards the mountains, where your climbing skills will be tested. On the narrow rocky paths, you can only walk side by side with two people at the most, so you can focus all your attention on the trees and plants along the way, not to mention the beautiful vistas towards the coast and inland.

Safety First

Our Mountaineer Rescue Team is always near, and we’ll have the Health & Safety Team with ambulances, one of which is a 4×4 pick-up truck. Our volunteers and safety team coordinate with the police and ambulances, who are present along the routes.

Besides, we’ll have our M4DW App, where you can find and follow fellow hikers. The organisation can also follow you if you turn this option on. (safety & crowd management)

In case of an emergency during the event, you can call us on our emergency number. (This number will be printed in your Info Guide, too.) TIP: Add this to your phone at the event! and always carry a power bank or two. You do not want to be in “the middle of nowhere” without battery power on your mobile.
